I want to start by telling you a little about why I teach Reiki — because it didn't begin in a classroom. It began in crisis.

In November 2022, I underwent an emergency ACDF spinal fusion. About a month later, I had a tonsillectomy, followed by two separate post-tonsillectomy hemorrhages. In a matter of weeks, my body had been through more than I could have ever prepared for. The surgeries were necessary — but when it was over, something still felt deeply off. I was physically healing, but energetically I felt flattened. Untethered. Like I couldn't quite find my footing again.

In January 2024 — more than a year after those surgeries — I felt a quiet pull toward something I didn't fully understand. I made an appointment for a Reiki session without knowing much about what I was walking into. I just knew something was drawing me there.

That session changed everything.

It was the first time since my surgeries that I felt like I could hold my head up again. Something shifted — and I mean that literally. I left that session feeling more like myself than I had in over a year. I didn't have all the words for it yet. I just knew I needed more.

After a second session, I enrolled in my first Reiki course. What began as personal healing quickly became a calling. I have since earned certifications as a Holy Fire® III Reiki Master, Karuna Reiki Master, Animal Reiki Master, and Reiki Drumming practitioner. Reiki is now a part of my daily life — not just something I practice, but something I live.

That's why I created this course. I know what it feels like to be depleted in ways that medicine alone couldn't reach. And I know what it felt like when Reiki met me there. My hope is that this course opens that same door for you.
